Inaugurado em 1910 no dia após da Revolução Republicana de 5 de Outubro, o Vidago Palace foi criado com o intuito de proporcionar as mais ambiciosas infra-estruturas hoteleiras á própria familia Real e aos seus convidados, visitantes habituais da região, em busca dos efeitos terapêuticos das famosas águas minerais do Vidago.
Embora nunca tenha acolhido os seus hóspedes Reais, o Vidago Palace tornou -se um dos destinos favoritos das aristocracia portuguesa e europeia, tendo sido considerado á época o hotel mais luxuoso da Península Ibérica. As décadas que se seguiram aumentaram a fama do Vidago Palace, com as suas festas de um glamour intemporal e prestigiados torneios de golfe. 100 anos após a sua inauguração, sob propriedade da Unicer, a lenda do Vidago Palace renasceu.
